The Warden's Retreat

WHO?
The Warden’s Retreat Program of the Grand Lodge of Texas prepares Senior and Junior Wardens to accept the leadership role as Master of their Lodges. Open to all interested Master Masons, participants engage in classroom type instruction, team building and group activities, and open question and answer periods program.

WHAT?
The program is structured, fast paced, intense and provides opportunities to exercise leadership and management skills. There will be two workshops in 2009, on August 1 - 2, 2009 and the second on August 8 - 9, 2009. Both will be held at the Waco Scottish Rite, 2801 W. Waco Drive, Waco, Texas. Registration is on Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m, with the program kicking off at 9:30 a.m. and ending by Noon Sunday. Participants receive all retreat supplies and materials, Saturday lunch and dinner. Hotel accommodations are not provided, and each participant must arrange for their own hotel rooms. Designed for Texas Masons, the program is open to all Master Masons and their Ladies. Officers of Lodges and appendent Masonic bodies are especially encouraged to attend. Make your plans now to join us for the 2009 Retreat Program and prepare to lead your Masonic organization into the future.

WHAT ELSE?
There will be a free Grand Lodge tour available on Friday, July 31 and August 7, beginning at 7:00 pm (715 Columbus Ave., Waco, Grand Lodge main floor). Registration materials will also be available to tour participants from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

LADIES PROGRAM
Special retreat program for the Ladies in addition to the Junior and Senior Warden Program. This program provides information that will help your wife understand our Fraternity, your role as a Lodge officer, and ways to incorporate family activities into your Lodge program. Don't leave your wife at home!
