Orient #905 is sponsoring a Skeet shoot to raise funds for scholarships. We hope to raise $2000 and apply for grants from TMCF for $2000 which will allow us to give 4 $1000 scholarships to a senior in Knox City, Munday, Haskell, and Benjamin, Texas. The skeet shoot will be held at the Spike Box Ranch west of Benjamin, Texas on April 17, 2010 and will be a blast!

State Senator Jeff Wentworth and State Representative Harvey Hilderbran received the Sam Houston Award from Grand Master W. David Counts during special ceremonies Thursday evening of the 174 annual Grand Communication of the Grand Lodge of Texas. Both were recognized for their participation in passing HB2555 (view passage video) which provides ad valorem tax realief to Masonic Lodge's accross the state of Texas.
