To All Texas Masons:

Please plan to attend the awarding of an 85 Year Grand Lodge of Texas Service Award to Brother James Biggs by Grand Master James Brumit and to celebrate the 109th birthday of Brother Biggs.  Both events will take place at 11:45 AM on Saturday, January 21 at the conclusion of the Grand Master’s Conference held at the Dallas Scottish Rite Cathedral, 500 S Harwood Street, Dallas.

We will be at the Dallas Grand Master's Conference to give away five 2010 enameled coins. To win, be one of the first five to leave a birthday card for Brother James Biggs with Past Grand Master Elmer Murphey or Brother Brad Marrs.

In an effort to preserve Texas History and promote the strong ties between Masonry and the History of our great State,  the Grand Lodge of Texas History Committee is proud to announce a project in which YOUR lodge may participate; a project that will have a positive effect in your part of the state! 

 

Alamo Masonic Lodge No. 44's Annual Called Lodge Meeting in the Alamo

The evening will consist of the two simultaneous events, followed by free dinner.
  
Please join us on December 14, 2012 for Alamo Lodge No. 44's annual Called Lodge Meeting in The Alamo, "The Shrine of Texas Liberty."
 
1. We will open the Master Masons Lodge for the official visit of the Grand Master of Masons in Texas.
 

 

STATE FAIR OF TEXAS OPENING DAY PARADE!

All Texas Masons are invited, The day is Friday September 28th, 2012 at 10:00am
 
We will assemble behind the George Allen Sr. Courts Building and Step Off at Noon
 
**Our Position is in front of Scottish Rite entry so we should be second to last.**
 
Attire will be Dress Slacks and Knit/Polo Shirts
 
We WILL be wearing Plain Cloth Aprons.

 It is almost time for the 49th District's Cave Degree at Longhorn Cave!

2013 Grand Master's Homecoming Banquet

The Grand Master’s Homecoming Banquet is planned for Saturday, January 12, 2013. It will be held at Arabia Shrine Center Houston at 10510 Harwin Drive, Houston, Texas.  Dinner ~ 7:00 pm (Doors Open 6:00 pm)

Ticket orders must be received no later than January 2, 2013
ONLY 700 TICKETS AVAILABLE

Degree Conferred in Vintage Robes

 A Master Mason Degree was conferred upon Brother Gerald Johnston Febuary 4, 2012 at J.A. Kemp Lodge #1287 in Wicita Falls, Texas.
 
The degree was conferred in vintage robes which were on loan from Faith Lodge #1158 in Wichita Falls. The robes were made in 1926 and are still in very good condition.
