Morton Lodge No. 72 to host annual golf tournament

Morton Masonic Lodge No. 72, AF&AM, of Richmond will hold their annual Doug Callaway Memorial Golf Tournament on April 12, 2013, at River Pointe Golf Club in Richmond. All proceeds from this tournament go to the Lodge Scholarship Fund and makes possible scholarships for seniors from LCISD and Needville ISD which are awarded annually in June.

   Here is a picture of the staff and manager Patty Williams on the right of the Half Price Book Store at the Ridglea Mall in Fort Worth. John Sayles Lodge is having a book drive to give every student at Bassetti Elementary School in Abilene a book to keep and take home next summer. This the third year the 1st year we did 5 classes this year we did 11 classes.
 

6th Annual Young County Masonic Scholarship Auction Preparations Begin

The members of Young County Masonic Lodge #485 and their entire families are beginning preparations for the 6th Annual Scholarship Auction.  The auction this year has been moved from August, and the heat of the summer, to what members are hoping is a bit more temperature comfortable time of year.  Auction Co-Chairman, Weldon Floyd said, "After five years of conducting the auction during the 100 degree temps of August we decided we would take our chances and move the date to March.

Chartering Sweet Home Lodge #576

My Dear Brother:

Today is a Great Day and a very Memorable one – One that we will all Remember for a long time!

After 100 years, our beloved Home will have a Masonic Lodge Chartered and meeting right here at the Home.  The Board gave their permission this morning and we can now begin the process of getting our Charter.  The name and number of our Lodge will be SWEET HOME LODGE No 576 A F & A M. This process will take some time and it’s imperative that we follow the law so there will be no problems with Grand Lodge granting our Charter.
