Zerne Lodge No. 615, in conjunction with the Holland Independent School District, recently announced their selection to receive their 2010 Maribeau B. Larmar Award for Excellence in Education.  Based on recommendations from Holland ISD, Zerne Lodge selected Mr. Don Owens, who is credited with 28-years of continuous service as an Educator in Holland Schools, to receive the award. Mr. Owens is a English and Liberal Arts Educator and was recognized at the Holland ISD Awards dinner on May 17th, 2010, at which the Lamar Award was presented on behalf of the Zerne Lodge and the Grand Lodge of Texas.
