Among the many contributions to the preservation of the history of Masonry in Texas are the brief histories of Texas lodges. The following is a partial list of lodge histories that have been published by Texas Lodge of Research over the past fifty years. They appear in the annual Transactions of T.L.R. and are listed here alphabetically by lodge name. The location of the lodge is listed in parenthesis. Note: Many lodge histories published within the pages of the forty-plus volumes of The Transactions of Texas Lodge of Research do not include the name of the lodge in the title. For that reason there are additional lodge histories that do not appear on this list.

 

 

Complete collections of The Transactions of T.L.R. can be found in the libraries of the Grand Lodge of Texas in Waco, the Scottish Rite House of Temple in Washington DC, the Dallas Scottish Rite, the Houston Scottish Rite, the San Antonio Scottish Rite, the Lee Lockwood Scottish Rite Library in Waco, the Brazos Valley Masonic Library in College Station, and in a number of other Scottish Rite temples and local lodge libraries around the state. Partial collections may also be found in many local lodge libraries and in the larger Grand Lodge and Scottish Rite libraries around the United States.
