ANNUAL COME AND TAKE IT CELEBRATION,
GONZALES, TEXAS

On Saturday October 7th Gonzales Lodge No. 30 hosted the official visit of Grand Master Brian Dodson at their cities annual "Come And Take It" Celebration. Grand Master Dodson was in Gonzales on this important weekend to help celebrate Come And Take It and to commemorate the Masonic Heroes actions in the Texas Revolution and The Republic of Texas. Over 40 Texians involved in the firing of the First Shot were or would become Masons. Every October Gonzales Lodge celebrates this historic event in conjunction with the Cities weekend celebration. Next year's date is October 7th 2007.
