Taken: November 24, 2006, On US Highway 277 south of Abilene headed to San Angelo, with a Canon VSL EOS D30 digital camera. I was driving south out of Abilene headed to San Angelo on US Highway 277 at sunset when my wife Becky and I came upon this scene and stopped and took the picture. Along with the beautiful Texas sunset, we were intrigued with the scene of old and new wind technology all in the same scene. It was as if we were witnessing the end of one era of wind harnessing and the beginning of the new era. |
