This is a photo of a sister and brother sharing a red, white, and blue towel walking
along the Frio River. They were leaving the "best little swimming hole in Texas"
near Neal's Lodges and heading back to the house. I, their dad, took the picture
using a Canon Power Shot A95 during the summer of 2006.
The effects were created using Adobe Photoshop CS.

We spend a week every summer on the Frio and the memories my children
make will last for a lifetime, mine and theirs. Tubing down the river with friends
and strangers; the cold, crystal clear water and all the fish underneath,
deer along the banks, the occasional bobcat or raccoon. BBQ for dinner
and then kicking the fire back up for s'mores. To me, that is Texas.
